Ongoing Volunteer Openings:

The Mail Room Coordinator (Monday-Friday, 10-2 )

The Front Desk Coordinator performs all duties necessary to ensure an efficient flow in the front office at HSC. They have key interaction with staff, residents and other volunteers and must have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service. The FDC oversees and facilitates all front office duties including, but not limited to, greeting/checking-in residents, answering phones, helping our development department and helping people with resources.  FDCs must possess organizational, analytical and problem solving skills and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. (Monday-Friday, 8-12 or 12-4 )

The Wednesday Market Coordinator sets up and breaks down the Market. Receives donations from the community. Oversees the operations of the market working with our Safety team to maintain a friendly environment.

The Campus Liaison needs to be proficient and knowledgeable about Campus programs and other resources. Most demonstrate effective communication. Will be trained in Motivational Interviewing and other resources. Will do intakes, assessment, diversion, and will connect people with veteran resources.

The Kitchen Assistant Assists cooks in their tasks. Performs other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, storing foods after delivery and cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms. Assists in completing weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance list. Helps serve meals to our guests.

The Kitchen Saucier helps make some simple recipes (like apple sauce, fruit compote, summer squash soup, etc.) so we can get the most out of our delicious seasonal produce. Our Executive Chef provides the recipes and training, This is Wednesdays and Sundays from 10 to 3 pm.

The Hygiene Bay Shower Greeter greets our guests and makes sure that they have all the toiletries and towels. Provides oversight to the day to day operations and performance and has the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment   Lighsc-vinda-4ht housekeeping of the laundry/towels and general Hygiene Bay area. (Monday-Friday, 10-2)

Childcare/Activities, Rebele Family Shelter provides childcare for families that are utilizing our housing and Resource Workshops. (Monday-Friday, 10-2 )

The Resource Workshop Coordinator will assist participants with housing, employment and resource search. Additionally you will be assisting with writing, formatting and reading documents (resumes, cover letters professional emails, etc.) (Monday-Friday, 10-2 )
